This morning, the National Fish Canning and Packaging Factory launched a specialized training program in "Corrosion in Industrial Equipment" for maintenance department engineers, under the supervision and training of Dr. Abdul Raqib Abdul Wahab Al-Wahbi.

This specialized training program is implemented over 10 days in two stages, each stage lasting 5 training days, with the participation of 35 engineers, to improve maintenance and increase production efficiency.

This program represents an important step for maintenance engineers as it provides a deep understanding of the basic concepts of corrosion, its types, causes and effects, in addition to techniques for detecting, controlling and protecting against corrosion and methods for measuring and evaluating it. The program also includes training in techniques and methods for preventing corrosion and reducing its effects.

This program also aims to identify the different types of corrosion, determine the most appropriate method for examining corrosion in equipment, and choose the appropriate material for manufacturing equipment based on its susceptibility to corrosion, the mechanism of corrosion, and the conditions necessary for its occurrence.
